Products to Help You Study From Home

Distance learning isn’t always fun. Long hours in the front of the computer can leave you feeling exhausted, unfocused, and burned out. Hopefully we’ll be back for in-person classes in the upcoming months, but before then, we have some suggestions to significantly improve your work or study-from-home situation. You might actually shut your laptop each evening feeling productive and excited to tackle another day!

Class Tracker Ultimate Student Planner

Class Tracker Planner

First up on our list is our very own Ultimate Student Planner, which comes in both dated and undated forms. This is the perfect product to improve your focus, productivity, and organization for the rest of this semester and the next one. It’s compact, clean, and designed to fit all of your assignments, daily plan, reminders, exams, and more. When the study-from-home days feel rather unstructured and unproductive, our planners encourage you to plan out your days and maximize your time.

Headphones

Sony headphones

There are so many great headphones and earbud options out there for a wide range of budgets. If you’re willing to splurge, the Apple wired earpods are great too (and only $20), so you don’t need to worry about misplacing them. Lastly, these Sony noise-cancelling headphones are comfortable, stylish, and less expensive than the Airpod Pros.

Workout Subscription

Obe Fitness

It’s so important to take breaks from studying at home, and movement breaks are even better! You don’t need to invest in a fancy Peloton bike or a bunch of workout equipment to get a great workout in, either. Most online workouts have free trial periods so that you can test them out and find the one you like best! Some of our favorites include the Be.Come Project, Obe Fitness, and Yoga with Adriene (which is free on YouTube!). These programs offer just 15 or 20-minute classes – the perfect study break to leave you feeling energized and refreshed!

Coffee Mug

Coffee mug

Whenever I’m feeling unmotivated to study, I like to pour myself a cup of tea as a little treat. I feel even better when I use one of my favorite coffee mugs! Check out Etsy for a cup that speaks to your personality, but we recommend this one from Society6 or this one from Anthropologie. So cute and fun!

Laptop Stand

Laptop stand

Don’t strain your neck by looking downwards at your laptop all day. Perch your laptop atop a stand to meet your eye level. You can simply stack your laptop on a pile of books or a box, but this durable laptop stand is also great!

Blue Light Glasses

Blue light glasses

Another study-from-home pain? All of the time spent looking at the blue light from your computer screen or phone. After a while, this can take a toll on your eyes, even leading to fatigue, headaches, and worsened eyesight. There are tons of inexpensive and stylish blue light glasses options out there, like these from Quay Australia or these from DIFF Eyewear. If you’re suffering from headaches after a long day of studying from home, blue light glasses can make a big difference! Class Tracker Founder and CEO Lesley Martin also shared her product suggestion for eye strain: eye drops! Using a drop just once a day prior to closing your eyes for a few minutes feels like getting an eye massage.

If you’re feeling burned out from distance learning, try to upgrade your setup with some of these helpful products! You might find more motivation when you have a cute and functional space to work.
